Covid-19 Site Information for Guests on Arrival

Welcome to Dolbryn!

Summer 2020 is no ordinary season, so please read the following information carefully. We understand it can seem tedious, but this is to help keep you, your family, other guests and our staff safe. Thank you.

Please respect the current social distance guidelines of 2 metres. Please be aware of other guests and staff and respect their space.

The shared facilities cannot open until the 25th July. This includes the shower and toilet blocks, the family room, the laundry and pot wash. The play park can open from the 20th July.

Please pay attention to the signs and information around the site. These are to help keep all of us safe.

As with our staff, we politely request that all our visitors up-hold the highest possible hygiene standards, through regular hand washing and/or the frequent application of hand sanitiser. This will help to keep us all safe.

You will be required to wear a face mask whilst using the shared facilities (chemical toilets, taps and litter bin area). Please ensure you bring supplies with you.

All the usual rules of good camping etiquette (such as our quiet time of 11pm, children back with their parents by 9:30pm, no ball games on the main fields etc) still apply. Please observe these so that everyone enjoys their stay.

In order to minimise the number of people on site, day visitors are not permitted until further notice.

We cannot accept group bookings or facilitate group gatherings. If you do know other people on site, we expect our guests to strictly adhere to the current rules of socialising, as set out by the Welsh Government. These do change frequently, so please ask us if you’re unsure.

If you fall ill with COVID-19 symptoms during your stay, please self-isolate in your van and call us for advice.

The bar is open for outside service only. Because this is weather permitting, we don’t have a rigid timetable this year, but if we plan to open we’ll put boards around the site and information on our Facebook page.

When the bar isn’t open, we will offer a delivery service between 5pm and 8pm. Please see the enclosed list and message or call your order through to us.

The shop will be open for an hour a day 3pm – 4pm. For breakfast item orders please see the attached list for items you can order. Please message or phone your order through to us the night before and we will drop it off at your pitch the next morning between 8 and 8:30am

Local relationships are important to us all and some residents are understandably apprehensive about the potential impacts of returning visitors; they will need reassurance demonstrated by your thoughtfulness. Please support local businesses where possible, and always respect the social distancing rules. Thank you.

If you need to contact us during your stay you can call us on 01239 701683 or 07900265661. You can message through Facebook, text or Whatsapp (07900265661) or pop to reception and ring the bell.

Please be patient and work with us to ensure that we can do our very best to give you the highest standard of service that you’re used to at Dolbryn.
