West Wales Beaches

Dolbryn is close to many beautiful beaches along the West Wales coast. Here are our favourites, and most are less than an hour's drive.

  • Newquay Beach - a lovely sandy beach in the historic resort town of Newquay.

  • Tresaith - a popular beach with surfers and sailors, this lovely little beach can be busy on sunny days!

  • Aberporth - just a short walk along the coast path from Tresaith, Aberporth is an old fishing community centred around an enclosed sandy beach.

  • Cwmtydu - a hidden gem along the Cereidigion coast, this quiet beach is a haven for seals and their pups in late summer.

  • Aberaeron - one of the most popular towns along the Ceredigion coast, Aberaeron's beach is a long rock and shingle stretch.

  • Mwnt - One of our favourites, Mwnt is a small and sheltered sandy cove not far from Cardigan.
